### New - Data Retention: activity log entries older than the retention period (90 days by default) can now be permanently deleted automatically once you switch it on. Set the period in Settings > Data Retention. - Daily WP-Cron cleanup: deletion runs once a day from WP-Cron, so it no longer depends on someone opening the WordPress admin. Large backlogs are removed in batches of 500 with a short pause between batches, and carry on in the background if they do not finish in one run. - Run Cleanup Now: a button on the Settings page deletes expired entries immediately. It shows how many entries are eligible and asks for confirmation first. - Cleanup status: the Settings page shows the date of the last cleanup, how many entries it deleted, and when the next one is due. ### Changes - Automatic deletion is off by default for new installs. Existing sites keep the settings they have, including a retention period they already chose. - The old cleanup that only ran when an admin page was loaded has been replaced by the scheduled job. - Deactivating the plugin removes the scheduled cleanup; uninstalling with "Remove Data on Uninstall" also removes the cleanup status.
